an at-length compound performance piece resulting in a collection of ninety six seperate time-clock receipt prints from various non-consecutive shifts worked as a dishwasher in lawrence, ks. installed on a gallery wall using earth magnets and arranged in no particular order as part of a collective printmaking show. shifts ranged from under two hours to over nine hours in length. receipts were installed alongside selected images from my instax photographic essay work.

ideas addressed include the struggle creative individuals face in modern society when confronted with the realities of earning a livelihood and the potential beauty in achieving a harmonious balance between the two arenas, as well as subversive aspects of printmaking as a medium and the definition of what constitutes a "fine art print" vis-à-vis the legitimacy of the process used to create the work.
