samuel bryan owen, b. albuquerque, nm. to william and evelyn owen. currently lives and works in san francisco, california. artist, illustrator, musician, bicycle mechanic, skateboarder, cyclist, photographer, friend.

early years in the american southwest spent skateboarding, riding bikes, and playing in bands blossomed into interests in graffiti art, visual communication, photography, printed media, and, through attending art school, the reconciliation of newfound aesthetic processes with a creative energy already refined through playing music. unified in both arenas, his most recent work deals with the ambiguity of translation, his own personal westward expansion, and the disparity between that which is felt and the ability to adequately express these ephemeral, but vital, emotions to others through the usage of various media.
